First, King St. and Bay St. in Toronto were shut down for a couple of days because marble slabs the size of an average kitchen table were falling off of BMO's tower at First Canadian Place (read more here).
Then, there were news reports that the stadium at BMO field was in need of emergency repair due to bolts and fasteners being found around the stadium that had fallen out of place creating a potentially dangerous situation.
And if building and property problems were not enough, there was news that BMO has reported close to $700 million dollars in trading losses with news stories that made for serious headline fodder in business sections nationwide.
Oh boy. When it rains it pours.
